What is the most precious thing you have of your grandparents? A watch? Jewellery?
For me it was my grandmothers teacups.
But when she died, I was rummaging around our family home for photos of her, and was sad to discover there were none of noteworthiness of myself with her.
I find it so lovely when new parents come in with their own parent and want to have a three generations shot taken.
I love it when grandparents themselves organise a photoshoot with all their children and grandchildren.
It may not feel like it now or even next week, but years down the track, these photos are so precious to look back on.
A photograph truly is a memory trigger.
It brings back the memories of the moment the photo was taken.
Memories of that time of life. And for my those who have lost loved ones, this will be all they have left of them.
So why not make the photos stunning!
Now is all you have, so make use of this offer and create photos that will last you a lifetime and will be treasured by the next generation!

Portrait sessions can range anywhere from corporate branding, to headshots for linkedin and other social media to purely indulging in some gorgeous photos to celebrate you!
We are so used to being in an age of having hundreds if not thousands of photos taken of ourselves. Some of us are semi happy with a handful of them, but most of us end up with blurry, badly lit photos with silly faces and poor quality images usually taken by our smart devices. Believe it or not though, this does not make everyone who takes a photo, a photographer!
Yes we all have the ability to take photos of ourselves, or get someone to take photos for us, but…
How many of these photos are you truly happy with?
How many of these photos will actually be printed and hang on a wall?
We live in a digital world, where we have thousands of photos of ourselves hidden in the depths of our devices.
Not many of us actually take the step anymore of actually printing these photos to keep forever.
Think about this – we actually do deserve to exist in photos. To look our best, to have great, professional photos taken of ourselves, to have them printed and to have them outlive us and be there for our kids and grandkids.
If you have ever had anyone close to you pass, what is the most treasured thing you have of them?
What brings back all the happy memories?
For most of us, the answer is photos.
It’s almost a certainty that anyone of our grandparents’ generation will have a professional portrait of themselves. It is usually a defining image of them that we remember them by.
No matter whether we are motivated by: looking professional in the corporate world and standing out from the crowd on linkedin or finally having one photo of us that we look bloody amazing in
I ask you this…
How do you want the world to see you?
How do you want to exist in photos?
And what will be your defining image of yourself today?
