at 5 weeks of age, Anabelle was admitted to the Royal Childrens Hospital for major surgery.
Now she is a healthy and very cheeky 10 year old with a smile that lights up any room ♥
Olivia wanted some family photos while her sister and gorgeous daughter were here on holidays.
Little Thando was a bundle of energy and so much fun, ‘camera shy’ was definitely not her middle name!!!
We had so much fun creating some beautiful family photos for them all and I am so thrilled that they are now a momento in an Australian home as well as an African home!
This was definitely a funny session! Little Evie was full of beans when I was taking photos of her and daddy, but when it was poor mummy’s turn, that smile turned upside down!!!
What we mums have to put up with! Pregnancy, breastfeeding, nurturing a newborn, drying tears, and then they turn into daddy’s girls hahaha!
I have to admit, it was definitely entertaining – instant smile and giggles on daddy, instant tears with mummy! We did get a smile though (eventhough it was whilst looking at daddy!)
Much love to you though Pauline, I know what you are going through, and when my middle daughter (daddy’s girl) was old enough to understand, daddy told her in a heart to heart,
that mummy loves you just as much, and is very sad when you don’t love her back, and a little switch clicked in her, she understood and now I get cuddles too ♥
It’s always refreshing doing a different age group!
I am so used to taking newborn photos which are so tiny, new and squishy, it was so much fun taking photos of Ella who I could’ve just squished her little pudgy arms and legs for hours!
And seeing her smile and tickling her to get her little button face to light up was a pure delight!
